The Guardian Angel, who accompanied the deceased in life shows, with
one hand on the tomb, the other hand is facing up to the soul of
the deceased the way. This angel is supposed to represent the
connection between the earthly and
the heavenly world.
The angel is carved out from a block oak in the piece and protected by
a slightly curved rectangular copper roof. The two decorative forged
brackets fix the roof about 4 inch contact-free about the figure, which
is not visible in the picture. They are screwed into the socket side of
the field unremarkable. At the front of the pedestal on which the angel
figure is the title block with name of the deceased is placed.
Original height of figure 54 inch, with a roof height of 61 inch, with a distance bracket to the floor overall height 63 height.
